Mapua University is an accredited Safety Training Organization by Bureau of Working Conditions-Department of Labor and Employment (BWC-DOLE) It’s objective is to assist the Department of Labor and Employment in instituting new and updated programs to ensure safe and healthful working conditions in all places of employment (Art. 162, Book IV, Title I, of the Labor Code of the Philippines, as amended). The prescribed 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training Course pursuant to Rule 1030 (as amended by D.O. 16 s. of 2001) of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards is offered by the institute. The Training modules are developed by pool of experts whose vast knowledge and expertise in the field of safety and practical applications are already well established.
